Welcome to Camping de Nevers

In the heart of France, at about 240 km south of Paris, lies the Burgundy town Nevers. Situated on the Way of Saint James, a lot of people yearly come to visit Saint Bernadette of Lourdes. Nevers is a town known for it's beautiful architecture and famous pottery. Troughout the whole year festivities take place.

On the outskirts of the town lies the circuit of Magny-Cours where numerous sports events take place, like the Grand Prix Formula-1 races.

The camp site is situated on the banks of the Loire River and offers a splendid panorama on the Palace of the Dukes and the Cathedral. The nice town centre, with many shops and restaurants, can be reached in just a few minutes. It's a fisherman's paradise because of the situation on the last wild river of Europe. A nice way to explore the surroundings is by bicycle, during a walk or a canoe trip.

The site has been reopened in June 2005 and offers 73 pitches for caravans and camping cars as well as tents. For those who prefer facility and comfort during the holidays, we offer fully equipped static caravans.
